What is Outplacement?
Also
known as redundancy management, release management, career management
assistance, outplacement is a service that is available to companies that are making
redundancies through restructure. Most companies find themselves in a situation
of having to downsize at some stage in order to keep step with the current
marketplace.
The outplacement service
provides a structure to aid staff find alternative employment and give them
confidence in taking their next step. It will also give confidence to the
remaining workforce in order to retain and motivate the remaining key
staff.
The requirements for an outplacement service will change from one company to
another. Therefore, the service is tailor made to the requirements of the
company and the affected employees.

separate from recruitment services therefore agency introduction fees are not
charged to the prospective employer.)

Provide assistance in
interview techniques, seeking hidden jobs, circulating CV's to suitable
agencies.
